Packages purchased before this increase will be valid for the services purchased. So if you've considered purchasing a package, now could be a great time!
FAQ: Do I need to tip my massage therapist?
It depends! If you see a therapist who works at a larger company or spa, tipping can be more expected since therapists may only get a small cut of the appointment cost or be paid an hourly wage that doesn't fully account for their skills.
At JF Bodywork, I set my session rates to ensure fair pay for myself and sufficient funds for my business costs. Tips are always appreciated and accepted, but not expected.
Some money from tips helps to cover the additional expenses of my inclusive treatments (cleaning materials for my cups and stones, specialty creams and oils, and continuing education).
However, I dedicate the majority of "tip" money to offset low-cost sessions available to the community. This means that people can book massage appointments and pay below my set price, subsidized by tip income and donations to my Accessible Massage Fund.

More Availability in Madison:
I am working to add more time to my schedule in Madison. I am able to do this thanks to all of you for filling my schedule, spreading the word, and just being awesome people to work with!
That said, my schedule is still limited in the near future, so I recommend planning ahead to snag your favorite spot!
Upcoming Training
I am so excited about my upcoming Sarga Bodywork training with the wonderful Lisa DiGirolamo!
Sarga is an awesome modality! As shown in the photo above, the practitioners feet are used to apply steady, myofascial massage. It really works with my slow, intentional style and will also enable me to have more diverse body mechanics (yay career longevity!)!
I hope to finish my certification process and be offering Sarga sessions to the public by the end of this year!
Feel mixed about barefoot massage? No worries! I will still be offering hands-on massage.
