Now accepting HSA & FSA!
Check with your plan to make sure massage therapy is a covered expense. For massage for general health, most plans do not require a LMN (Letter of Medical Necessity). No tipping allowed on your HSA or FSA card.
Gratuities note:
Tipping is always completely optional and the decision to tip or not has no effect on the quality of your treatment.
I choose to not have add-on fees for modalities like hot stones and cupping so we can incorporate helpful modalities without the barrier of price.
That said, using these modalities require additional labor of cleaning and sanitizing these tools. If it is accessible for you, adding a 10-15% “tip” for treatments with hot stones and/or cupping helps compensate me for the additional time and resources.
